Casserly "Beaux" Engelbert
U.S. Marine Corps
Beaux was born Puerto Rican and "white trash," later adopted into a middle-class family of WASPs. After the attacks on 9/11, he joined the United States Marine Corps, driven by a desire to defend what he believed was the heart of America: apple pie, baseball, and the ideals of truth, justice, and the American way. He would go on to spend the next 20 years in service to those beliefs.
Over time, however, disillusionment set in. He began to question whether the country he fought for still existed—or whether it ever had, at least within his lifetime. As that realization deepened, he found clarity in the eternal mysteries once grounded in faith. To him, the truths tied to God now make far more sense than the narratives spun by those he believes seek to usurp the legacy of truth, the way, and the light.
He sees the current world as inverted—an “upside down” where objective standards of beauty, health, and sanity have been abandoned. In a society where everyone is told they’re special, he contends that no one truly is. Still, there's a silver lining: the collapse of a shared collective consciousness has eroded the power of celebrity and exposed the corrupt organs of influence. To him, these powers are nothing short of sinister—Satanic warmongers bent on preparing Lucifer’s throne on earth through chaos and destruction.
Yet, he holds fast to hope. Blessed, he believes, are the peacemakers—and those who refuse to swallow the pervasive lies.
He was married to the Marine Corps from 2003 to 2012, then transitioned into federal service from 2013 to 2020—what he candidly refers to as being a "government whore." After that chapter, he leveraged his GI Bill to attend Columbia University, where he studied Philosophy and made his presence known both in the classroom and on the rugby field, where he took pride in humbling the privileged elite.
